Who we are

What we collect
- When you enquire (a form on this site, email, phone or a visit): your name, email, phone number, your message, and the van you’ve put together (version, package and extras).
- When you use this site: which pages you look at, what you click, your browser and device type, roughly where you are (town or country, worked out from your IP address) and where you came from. Visits are anonymous unless you’ve accepted analytics cookies and then send us an enquiry, when we add your name to that visit so we can see which pages helped you decide. We may record how pages are used to improve them; anything typed into a form is hidden in those recordings.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, quote for your build and, if you go ahead, carry out the work and look after your warranty. This is needed to take steps toward, and carry out, a contract with you.
- To provide a brochure when you request one. We store your email address and a record of the request in Easy Job Planner.
- To send our newsletter with your consent when you explicitly sign up. We record your email address, the consent wording, its version, the form and the date of your choice. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter, or by emailing us. A brochure download does not subscribe you unless you choose the optional newsletter box.
- To understand how the site is used so we can make it better. This is in our legitimate interests. Remembering you between visits, and adding your name to a visit, only happens with your consent.
We don’t sell your details, and we won’t add you to marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who helps us
A few companies handle data for us, only on our instructions:
- Easy Job Planner: where we manage enquiries, jobs, brochure requests and newsletter subscriptions.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and passes form enquiries on to us.
- PostHog: website analytics, stored on their EU servers.
If any of them handle data outside the UK, they do so with the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record of your choice so we can respect it.
- Brochure requests that don’t become an order: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Enquiries that don’t become an order: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Customers: for as long as we need to for the build, the warranty and our accounts (usually 6 years after the work is finished).
Cookies
We only use analytics cookies if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time. Without them, our analytics stores nothing on your device. The van you build on the Ventus and Luxus pages is saved in your own browser so it’s still there when you come back. Our cookie policy lists everything and lets you change your choice.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Just email us, and we’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
